Phong Nha Viet’s guide and driver meet you at your hotel or a central meeting point in Dong Hoi or Phong Nha Town. From here, we begin our road trip to the quiet highland town of Hướng Phùng, following the legendary Ho Chi Minh West Trail through pristine jungle and dramatic mountain scenery.
Sa Mu Pass – Scenic Stop
On the way, we pause at the beautiful Sa Mu Pass. Take your time to enjoy the cool air, sweeping valley views and great photo opportunities along this mountainous stretch.
Chenh Venh Community Tourism Village
We continue to Chenh Venh Community Village in Quang Tri, a charming ethnic minority village where traditional culture and nature blend harmoniously.
11:00 AM – Lunch
Enjoy a local lunch and sample distinctive dishes from the region.
12:00 PM – Check-in at Nam Mua Bungalow
Arrive at Năm Mùa Bungalow, check into your room and relax. Take a moment to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, surrounded by hills, trees and fresh highland air.
02:30 PM – Coffee Farm Experience
In the afternoon, visit a coffee farm to learn how coffee is grown, harvested and roasted. Taste a cup of freshly brewed specialty coffee right at the source, overlooking the farm and surrounding mountains.
04:00 PM – Free Time at the Bungalow
Return to the bungalow. You’re free to stroll around, read a book, take photos or simply unwind and enjoy the views.
06:30 PM – Dinner & Overnight
Have dinner at Năm Mùa Bungalow’s restaurant with warm local dishes. The evening is at your leisure – relax, chat with your guide and fellow travelers or enjoy the quiet of the mountains.

DAY 2: CLOUD-HUNTING – TÀ CƠN AIRPORT – FAREWELL TO KHE SANH
04:00 AM – Check-out
Early check-out from the bungalow.
04:30 AM – Cloud-Hunting at 1,000 m
Drive to a nearby mountain peak at almost 1,000 meters above sea level. Here you’ll experience one of the highlights of the trip: cloud chasing at sunrise. Enjoy a light breakfast on the hilltop, sip hot coffee and watch as the sun slowly rises above a sea of clouds – a truly magical highland moment.
07:30 AM – Tà Cơn Airport & Route 9 – Khe Sanh Museum
Leave the mountain peak and head to Tà Cơn Airport, an important site of the Khe Sanh battlefield and Vietnam’s DMZ history.
