O Ro Cave
O Ro Cave lies within a protected forest under the management of the Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park Administration. From Km 13 on the 20 Quyet Thang Road (near the Outdoor Ho Chi Minh Museum), visitors hike along a stream for about an hour to reach the cave entrance, covering a distance of approximately 1.7 km.
- The cave stretches for 3 km and begins with an entrance 3–4 meters high. As you venture deeper, the cave expands, surprising visitors with its spacious chambers, dispelling any fear of darkness or confined spaces.
- At the end of the cave, adventurers are rewarded with a skylight—a natural opening to the outside world—illuminating a pristine patch of primary forest bathed in natural light.
Hoan My Cave
Perched midway up Khe Van Mountain, Hoan My Cave spans approximately 500 meters and is located about 6.5 km from Tra Ang Bridge.
- The entrance branches into two sections:
- The Right Passage: Stretching 200 meters, this branch is adorned with vibrant stalactites resembling rooms draped in colorful curtains.
- The Left Passage: Extending 300 meters, this branch features an entrance 70 meters high and 50 meters wide. It is particularly notable for its magnificent stalactite formations, some nearly 30 meters tall and 7 meters in diameter, forming an awe-inspiring spectacle of grandeur and elegance.
These caves, with their unique beauty and breathtaking features, offer visitors a rare opportunity to experience the harmony of untouched nature and underground wonders.
