Day 1: Đồng Hới City Tour
Morning: The Phong Nha Vietnam tour guide and vehicle will pick you up from the train station/airport in Đồng Hới.
8:00 AM: Enjoy breakfast at a local restaurant, where you can try Bánh Canh (noodle soup) served with ram cuốn (crispy spring rolls) - a specialty of Quảng Bình.
9:00 AM: Board the bus and begin your tour to explore and visit famous landmarks in Đồng Hới city.
Visit and take photos at Quảng Bình Quan, the symbol of Quảng Bình province.
Next, stop by Quảng Bình Museum, which preserves the history and culture of the local people. The museum features 7 exhibition spaces, each representing a unique cultural aspect of Quảng Bình.
The group will continue by bus to offer incense and pray for peace at Đại Giác Pagoda – a unique architectural pagoda covering an area of 8,000m², the largest in Quảng Bình. Here, you can admire the 9-tier Di Đà Tower and the 9-meter, 40-ton A Di Đà statue, the largest A Di Đà statue in Vietnam.
Continue by bus to visit Tam Tòa Church, a war relic nearly 150 years old, located by the poetic Nhật Lệ River.
12:00 PM: Board the bus and head to Quê Hương Restaurant to enjoy a lunch featuring local specialties, particularly braised river fish, a delicious dish of Quảng Bình.
1:30 PM: Travel to a cozy homestay near Nhật Lệ Beach. Check in and relax.
3:00 PM: Gather for a visit to Mẹ Suốt Statue, a tribute to the brave mother who carried soldiers across Nhật Lệ River during the American War.
The group then has free time for shopping at Đồng Hới Market.
5:00 PM: Head to Nhật Lệ Pier for a sunset boat ride on a Canoe.
5:15 PM: The canoe ride begins, offering scenic views along Nhật Lệ River, from the pier to the sea entrance, then back to the bridge.
6:00-6:15 PM: Return to the pier. The group boards the bus and heads to a seaside seafood restaurant for dinner with a beautiful sunset view over Nhật Lệ Beach.
7:00 PM: Return to the hotel by the beach. Enjoy some free time to explore the city at night.
Day 2: Đồng Hới - Paradise Cave - Eight Ladies Cave
Morning: Start the day with a morning swim at Nhật Lệ Beach. Pack your luggage and have breakfast at the hotel.
8:00 AM: The group will board the bus and head to Paradise Cave. This 31.4 km long cave is the longest in Asia. Inside, you will see many magical stalactites and stalagmites that form a majestic and mystical wonderland known as "The Palace Inside the Earth."
You will take an electric vehicle for a 2km journey to the cave entrance, passing through a primeval forest of ancient trees, sculpted by nature like bonsai rocks.
The sheer size of the cave and the breathtaking formations, such as Thạch Thiên Cung, Thác Thiên Hà, Quần Tiên hội tụ, and the Lotus Tower, will leave you in awe. You'll also encounter familiar images like terraced fields, Cham tower-shaped stalagmites, the statue of Quan Âm, and the Rồng House of the Tây Nguyên people.
12:00 PM: Gather and board the bus to Mooc Stream, a serene natural haven in Quảng Bình. This is a perfect destination for nature lovers, with refreshing waters and lush green mountains surrounding the stream.
Enjoy a rustic lunch with local delicacies.
Relax at the streamside huts and participate in activities such as swimming, kayaking, floating on giant inflatable rafts, or trying out the zipline across the stream.
5:00 PM: Board the bus and head to Eight Ladies Cave, where the guide will tell the heroic and tragic story of the young martyrs of the American War.
5:30 PM: The group will board the bus and head to Chày Lập Farmstay – a peaceful spot nestled in nature, where you'll check in and relax.
6:00 PM: Enjoy dinner by the Sơn River at Chày Lập Farmstay.
Overnight at the Farmstay.
