Location
In 2006, the British Royal Cave Exploration Team surveyed the main passage of Paradise Cave, revealing a stretch nearly 7 kilometers long. The cave’s widest point spans an impressive 150 meters, with ceilings soaring between 60 to 80 meters above its floor.
Paradise Cave boasts awe-inspiring grandeur, with its magnificent stalactites and stalagmites forming a surreal landscape that defies imagination. Recognized as Asia’s longest dry cave at a length of 31.4 kilometers, it captivates visitors with its diverse and intricate formations.
While primarily a dry cave, deeper sections feature waterfalls and underground rivers. The cave maintains a temperature difference of 2–4°C compared to the outside, creating a cool and refreshing environment. Notably, Vietnamese scientists have discovered a new species of scorpion within the cave, aptly named the Paradise Scorpion.
Tourism activities began here in 2010, allowing visitors to explore a 1.5-kilometer section from the main entrance. Recently, the site has expanded to include expeditions into the cave’s deeper reaches, offering adventurers an unparalleled journey into this subterranean wonder.
