Paradise Cave 4,000m Adventure is made for explorers (16+) who want more than a scenic walk. After the illuminated wooden boardwalk section (1–1.5km), you continue deeper—trekking a full 4,000m like real cave specialists. Inside, the cave opens into cathedral-sized chambers (up to 80m high and 120m wide), where formations sparkle like “stone diamonds.” The route’s highlights include the Bat Chamber, the cool air where two dry streams meet, an iconic photo stop at Km 4, a thrilling boat crossing under low ceilings, and rugged climbs through narrow, maze-like passages. The journey peaks at the Paradise Well—the most beautiful spot on the route—where you enjoy lunch beside a poetic underground stream.
Schedule
07:30 – Pick-up by Phong Nha Viet guide and vehicle from your hotel/train station in Dong Hoi (transfer fee from Dong Hoi is self-arranged; call hotline for the best quote).
10:30 – Electric shuttle to the cave base. Visit Paradise Cave via the wooden stairway/boardwalk with well-designed lighting to admire spectacular formations.
After 1km – Continue deeper into the cave: towering chambers, diverse stalactites/stalagmites, wildlife sightings (bats, fish, spiders).
Km 4 – Scenic stop for photos and a rest in a truly surreal section.
Adventure section – Boat crossing for ~100m under very low ceilings, then tackle rugged slopes and narrow passages. Paradise Well – Arrive at the most stunning area. Lunch and rest beside the underground stream; free time for photos.
Afternoon – Exit the cave, return by electric shuttle, change clothes and relax.
16:30 – Drop-off back in Dong Hoi (hotel/train station/airport). End of tour.
