Schedule

Day 1 – Dong Hoi – Ho Chi Minh City – Bac Lieu

 7:00 AM: Phong Nha Viet’s bus and guide will pick up the group at the designated meeting point and depart for Dong Hoi Airport to board the Vietjet Air flight departing at 9:35 AM to Ho Chi Minh City.

11:10 AM: Arrive at Tan Son Nhat Airport, where a bus will pick up the group for lunch at a restaurant.

Afternoon: Depart for Bac Lieu.

7:00 PM: Arrive in Bac Lieu City, dinner at a restaurant.

Evening: Check into the hotel for relaxation and overnight stay. Free time to explore Bac Lieu at night.

Overnight: 3-star hotel in Bac Lieu.

 

Day 2 – Bac Lieu – Ca Mau – Dat Mui

6:30 – 7:00 AM: Breakfast at the hotel and check out.

Morning: The bus and guide will take the group to visit:

Bac Lieu Prince’s House: A Western architectural style house built by a French architect from 1917 – 1919, well-preserved with many valuable antiques. Learn about the life of the richest playboy in the South at that time.

Wind Power Field: The only offshore wind farm in Vietnam and the first wind power project in Southeast Asia, built on the continental shelf, resembling the scenic windmills of the Netherlands.

Thai Duong Stone Clock: The unique ancient stone clock in Vietnam, second of its kind in the world.

Continue to visit the Don Ca Tai Tu Music and Composer Cao Van Lau Memorial Area: Introduction to his life, career, and the development of traditional music. Visit exhibitions showcasing traditional costumes, musical instruments, and wax models.

11:30 AM: Lunch at a restaurant.

Afternoon: Depart for Ca Mau – the southernmost point of the country.

1:00 PM: Arrive in Ca Mau City, check into the hotel.

2:00 PM: Depart for Dat Mui in Nam Can district.

4:30 PM: Visit Dat Mui, explore the southernmost sacred land of the country. Take commemorative photos at GPS marker 0001 and visit the Dat Mui National Park with its extensive mangrove forests.

6:30 PM: Dinner at Huong Dat Mui ecological restaurant.

7:30 PM: Return to the hotel.

Evening: Free time to explore Ca Mau at night.

Overnight: in Ca Mau City.

 

Day 3 – Ca Mau – Can Tho

6:00 – 6:30 AM: Breakfast at the hotel and check out.

7:30 AM: Depart for Can Tho – the heart of the Mekong Delta.

11:00 AM: Lunch in Can Tho.

Afternoon: Check into the hotel and relax. Free time to explore Can Tho City.

7:30 PM: Dinner on a Can Tho cruise, savoring the flavors of the Mekong Delta.

Evening: Free time to explore Can Tho at night.

Overnight: 3-star hotel in Can Tho.

 

Day 4 – Cai Rang Floating Market – My Khanh Tourist Village – Ho Chi Minh City

5:00 AM: Depart for Cai Rang Floating Market, one of the largest in the Mekong Delta, showcasing a unique aspect of local culture. Here, goods are quickly traded on boats.

7:00 AM: Return to the hotel for a buffet breakfast and check out.

Morning: Visit My Khanh Tourist Village, experiencing the essence of the Mekong Delta.

12:00 PM: Lunch at My Khanh.

1:00 PM: Depart for Ho Chi Minh City.

5:00 PM: Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City, check into the hotel.

7:00 PM: Dinner at a restaurant.

Evening: Free time to explore Nguyen Hue walking street and Bui Vien western town, discovering the vibrant Saigon nightlife.

Overnight: 3-star hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

 

Day 5 – Ho Chi Minh City – Dong Hoi

 6:30 – 7:00 AM: Breakfast at the hotel, check out.

7:30 AM: Visit Independence Palace – a special national monument, preserving proud marks of the national liberation war.

Next: Visit Ben Nha Rong – where 113 years ago, beloved Uncle Ho set off to seek ways to save the country. Pass by landmarks like Notre Dame Cathedral, Saigon Post Office.

11:30 AM: Lunch and free time for shopping at Ben Thanh Market.

1:30 PM: Depart for Tan Son Nhat Airport, boarding the Pacific Airlines flight at 3:20 PM back to Dong Hoi.

4:55 PM: Arrive in Dong Hoi, transfer back to the starting point. Tour ends. See you again!
