Tu Lan cave is located along the Rao Nan river where belongs to Phong Nha Ke Bang area, Quang Binh Province, Viet Nam. Tu lan was discovered in the years of 2009, 2012. In the another hand, there are some fantastic caves were formed here. Here has 4 small valleys those are Laken, Hung Ton, To Mo and Vu Lan hidden within the limestone range of Phong Nha Ke Bang. Tu lan is primary cave where you can figure out wonderful -nature sceneries such as waterfall and cave river.

Tu Lan valley seems to a beautiful picture, embellished by winding springs of Ra Nan river. The hills are naturally scattered makes a scenery original. Tu Lan mountain is vast with 99 spectacular peaks stretching out of sight.  People say there are plenty of caves that can not explore them all. This area is home to hundreds of  species living on limestone range.

Day 1. The departure of a new exploration

Phong Nha Viet will pick up you at your arrival around 7.30 and drive you to Phong Nha and then Tan Hoa Commune. At Tan Hoa you will prepare a full day of trekking to Tu Lan cave.

The trekking take around 01 hour across the cultivated fields by the local people. You can meet country scenery such as corn field, bulls, and buffaloes who work on the field with people here.

Your journey will continue to pass some valley and hill. First  you can down to Nan River and go up a hill a small dense forest opening in front of you. Then you must descend a 100m of sloping trail to Hung Ton valley.

At the Hung Ton Cave you will have lunch around 30 minute and then you will trek again from Hung Ton and pass Mango Mountain and down to Tu Lan Valley. The trail is around 30km long.

Day 2: Tu Lan – challenge change

Tu Lan Cave exploration will start after you have a delicious breakfast . To discover Tu Lan Cave system you will across the river by swimming. Here you can enjoy real natural scenery,  Tu Lan Cave entrance where exists  the blue lagoon. Through the entrance you can take a way of 180m downstream to explore the dry part of the cave. And then you can reach the dry exit and pass the valley to Kim Cave. You can take a break at the Kim Cave to watch out . You will then swim 450m and treck 500 m through the Kim Cave to To Mo Valley.

After long journey in the morning you will be served a lunch to restore your energy for next coming action. And the you will be guided to figure out the way out of Hung Ton Cave.

Dry passage is the following exploration and you will then trek down into Hung Ton Valley about 800m and arrive at Tan Hoa where you will be arranged for break, showers, drinking.

The Tour will drive back to Phong Nha at 5.30 and arrive in Dong Hoi 6.30pm.

Showers are available for those who would like to clean up and change, and then departure back to Phong Nha is at around 4 pm, with arrival in Phong Nha by 5:30 pm
