You know about war in Vietnam? You would like to know more about it? How far you can go to see what happened there in the past?

We organize lots of tours to DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) in Quang Tri for many tourists round the World. They are very excited to see, hear, and sometimes touch to something left from the war. The DMZ tour normally, can do a day with some highlights such as Vinh Moc tunnel, Hien Luong Bridge, 17 Parallel, Quang Tri Old citadel, Khe Sanh, Ta Con airport, Rock pile, Truong Son cemetery, go on...However, you won’t know that, there is a most important and strategic place for all region. That is Con Co Island and very few people could go there. Con co is like the heart of region supply blood for whole area. Two days tour to Con Co will provides you a special feeling that you never found in somewhere else.      

Itinerary:    

Day 1: Dong Hoi – Cua Viet – con co Island                                              Dinner)   

6h00: Car and our driver will pick you up at hotel in Dong Hoi, depart to Quang Tri. It takes around 2hours. Car will drop you at Cua Viet Port to take Cano to Con Co Island.  8h30 – 10h: Start the trip with Cano, guide will provide you some information about the Island. Having a bird eyes to the area.

Arriving to Island, take some first photos, and then go with bus to go to hotel, check in and relax.

11h30: Lunch at restaurant with local dishes

Back to hotel for a soft break, and prepare for the tour in the afternoon.  

14h00 – 15h00: You follow the instructions of the guide, start the visit Con Co island with the first place is the traditional room – where keep the historical sacred relics of Vietnam military and islanders throughout the 55 years.

Then, you will move to commemorate at Memorial – 37 Hill, where commemorate the martyrs to protect Island. You will know how we have the 37 Hill.

15h00 – 17h00:  Then you will see some places such as Ben Nghe, Mom Ho, swim, go to the beach, diver to see beautiful coral reef.

17h00 – 18h00: Back to hotel, take shower and relax.

18h00 – 19h30: Dinner at restaurant.

19h30 – 21h00: Go to Bến Nghè to have a look of Island at night. It’s quiet and peaceful. Join the campfire, have a talk with soldiers here.

21h00: Back to hotel, overnight in Island.

Day 2: Con Co Island – Cua Viet Port – Hue                                       (B/L/)

5h00 – 6h30: Wake up with the fresh atmosphere on Island, Wait for the sunrise and go around by yourself.  

7h00 – 8h00: breakfast and have some drink.

8h00 – 10h30: With the guide, you will cross to the primary forest to discover the huge and frighten Island. Then, you will go to the lighthouse, where you will have an overall look to the whole Island before leaving. That’s extremely unforgettable feeling for all of you.

10h30: back to hotel, pack everything for going back to the land.

11h00: Have lunch.

12h30 – 13h00: Check out, go to waiting house where you can buy some souvenirs for friends and family.  

13h00 – 14h00: Cano will bring you back to the land.

14h00: Arrive Cửa Việt. Car will pick you up and go to Hue. Drop you at Hue, say goodbye and see you again.
